Welcome to the Wyatt Lab
The Wyatt Lab is located in the School of Environment and Natural Resources at The Ohio State University where we study microbial ecology in aquatic ecosystems. We are particularly interested in the interactions between primary producers (i.e., algae) and decomposers (i.e., heterotrophic bacteria and fungi) that have consequences for biogeochemical cycling and food-web dynamics. The nature of our research is multi-disciplinary, providing research opportunities for students with a wide range of interests.
